After the successful bid and before project
management, is the important task of the preparation
of your submittals for approval. Our Senior
Engineers prepare Architectural Hardware Schedules,
Hollow Metal Door & Frame Shop Drawings, Wood Door
Shop Drawings, FRP Shop Drawings, etc. Our experts make sure that the specified
products meet Fire Code, Life/Safety Code and ADA
code. We make sure that there are no conflicts
between the various specified hardware items in
conjunction with each other and the door or frame
that they are intended to be installed on. |

JC Ryan Project Managers are involved in their
projects from 1st submittal to completion. They are
responsible for the successful completion of your
project. They work closely with the General
Contractor and installers to coordinate deliveries,
in conjunction with the ever-changing construction
schedule. They attend keying meetings, troubleshoot
special field conditions, and offer their technical
expertise. Their job is to make you look good! |

As part of the professional services of JC Ryan, we
have qualified Field Technicians to survey and
provide solutions for openings that are in need or
repair or are not compliant with building code. |

JC
Ryan Union Mechanics have installed complete
openings in projects throughout the Tri-State
area... From a single opening to hundreds of
openings, we work closely with the General
Contractor or on our own to handle a full range of
opening requirements. We can install a complete
opening or just a needed component of hardware. We
install all types of door hardware including
locksets, closers, exit devices, thresholds,
weather-stripping, flush bolts and more! Our
Mechanics are well versed in the field modification
of Doors and Frames including cutting in vision
panels or louvers, relocating hollow metal hinge and
strike cutouts and undercutting doors. |

JC Ryan has locksmiths on staff at our Farmingdale
Headquarters. If your project is not factory master
keyed, our in-house locksmiths key your contract
project as per the approved Keying Schedule. We
expand existing key systems, establish new key
systems and help maintain your building’s system. We
also, re-key and repair locksets and cylinders, cut
additional keys as provided to us by our customers.

For our contract projects, we are proud to offer
your Finish Hardware deliveries be made by our own
JC Ryan truck and Teamster driver. All hardware
deliveries are meticulously coordinated with your
jobsite. We check-in each hardware item with your
job super or installer to assure all products are
complete and accounted for. Door, Frame and Marvin
Window deliveries are coordinated with the same
precision by our respective manufacturer’s trucks. |

In addition to our Contract Department, we
have a Non-Contract Sales Department that
assists the aftermarket clients (End Users,
Schools, Hospitals, Office Buildings etc.)
that require replacement hinges, locksets,
exit devices, door closers,
electro-mechanical locking systems, and well
as everything else for the door, including
the door itself. |
