Engineering & Detailing
After the successful bid & before project management, is the important task of the preparation of your submittals for approval. Our Senior Engineers prepare Architectural Hardware Schedules. Hollow Metal Door & Frame Shop Drawings, Wood Door Shop Drawings, FRP Shop Drawings, etc.
Our experts make sure that the specified products meet Fire Code, Life/Safety Code & ADA code. We make sure that there are no conflicts between the various specified hardware items in conjunction with each other & the door or frame that they are intended to be installed on.
Project Management

JC Ryan Project Managers are involved in their projects from 1st submittal to completion. They are responsible for the successful completion of your project. They work closely with the General Contractor & installers to coordinate deliveries, in conjunction with the ever-changing construction schedule. They attend keying meetings, troubleshoot special field conditions, & offer their technical expertise. Their job is to make you look good!
Delivery
For our contract projects, we are proud to offer your Finish Hardware deliveries be made by our own JC Ryan truck & Teamster driver. All hardware deliveries are meticulously coordinated with your jobsite. We check-in each hardware item with your job super or installer to assure all products are complete & accounted for. Door, Frame & Marvin Window deliveries are coordinated with the same precision by our respective manufacturer’s trucks.
Non-Contract Sales
In addition to our Contract Department, we help support & assist aftermarket clients (End Users, Schools, Hospitals, Office Buildings etc.) that require replacement hinges, locksets, exit devices, door closers, electro-mechanical locking systems, & well as everything else for the door, including the door itself.
